21 Nov Why do you urge sellers not to pay up front fees?

No business owner-seller should pay up-front for services before they are delivered. At least not a large, lump sum up-front fee. The scam M&A advisory firms have for years coached $15,000 to $50,000 up front out of business owners. Unfortunately, nothing happens after that. Don’t fall for it!
