01 Jun David L. Perkins, Jr. to Speak at 2012 FSPA Conference

April 21, 2012, Nashville, Tennessee: David L. Perkins, Jr. has accepted an invitation to speak at the Financial and Security Products Association (FSPA) 2012 Conference and Manufacturers Showcase. It will be held May 31 through June 2 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel located in the heart of “Music City,” Nashville, Tennessee.

Perkins is a nationally recognized expert on the purchase, sale and valuation of small and mid-size private companies. He is managing director of Acquisition Advisors and owner and managing editor of The Business Owner Journal. The title of his presentation will be, “Business Valuation for the Business Owner.” Topics covered will include the types of businesses buyers (and the pros and cons of each); value drivers; common barriers to marketability; what buyers are paying and why; common deal structures; the key elements of a management buyout; and how a business owner can quietly and professionally secure the absolute maximum.
